We are a small editorial team that writes plain-English guides to help people understand how vaccine registration, vaccination certificates and health records generally work in Bangladesh. We are not a government office, a health facility, a travel agency or a recruitment agency.

We cannot perform any official action

Surokkha Guide cannot:

• Register anyone for a vaccine or book a vaccination centre.
• Issue, download, print, correct, update or verify a vaccination certificate.
• Access, look up or change any record in any government database.
• Speed up an application or guarantee any outcome.

Buttons and links on our website that mention registration or certificates always take you to the official portal. They never perform the action themselves.

Names and trademarks

The name Surokkha and the names of government bodies, programmes and platforms mentioned on this website belong to their respective owners. We use them only to describe and identify those programmes so that readers can understand them. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by or endorsement from those owners. We do not use government emblems, seals or logos.

Beware of impersonators

We will never ask you for money, and we will never ask for your NID number, birth registration number, OTP, password or certificate. Anyone who contacts you claiming to represent Surokkha Guide, or claiming they can "fix" or "arrange" a certificate for a fee, is not genuine. The content on Surokkha Guide is for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional, such as a doctor, nurse or trained vaccination worker, with any questions you have about a medical condition, a vaccine, a vaccination schedule, side effects or your family's health. Never ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this website.

Emergencies

If you or someone else has a medical emergency, including a severe reaction after a vaccination such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or collapse, go to the nearest hospital or contact your local emergency service immediately. Do not rely on a website in an emergency.

Eligibility and schedules change

Vaccine eligibility, available vaccines, dose intervals, booster recommendations and immunization schedules are decided by health authorities and can change as evidence and supply change. Our guides describe general patterns at the time of our last review. They may not reflect the latest decisions, and they cannot account for your personal medical history. Confirm current guidance with a health professional and with official sources such as DGHS and the World Health Organization.

About our fact-checking

Every guide is fact-checked by our health content editor, Arif Hossain, against the official portal, DGHS, WHO, UNICEF and other authoritative sources, to confirm that health statements match published guidance and are phrased with appropriate caution. This is an editorial check, not a medical review. Surokkha Guide's articles are not reviewed by a medical professional, nothing on this website creates a doctor-patient relationship, and no guide can tell you whether it suits your individual circumstances. Our guides are not reviewed by a medical professional, so please confirm any health decision with a qualified doctor or health worker.
